This course is intended for
- Students who have a basic background in Art and are in the age group of 5-8 years
- OR for older kids and adults with no background
At this level, students get a further introduction into the world of art. Students learn how to draw objects using simple lines and shapes. Spatial concepts like Near and far, Big and small are taught creatively to help the child develop critical thinking. Students are also introduced to the world of colors and color concepts. Fun activities like Shadow drawing and Observation drawing are taught. A lot of creative crafts and origami will be taught regularly. Students learn about a renowned artist’s work at a very early stage.
The child’s sensory, fine, and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and bilateral hand use are further developed at this stage. Problem-solving abilities, language development, and cognitive skills are enhanced. Our young students gain confidence as they draw using their imagination and create wonderful masterpieces. Learning about a renowned artist widens their exposure to the world of art.
Once they complete this level, they are ready for the next level.
