Description

This course is intended for

  • Students who have moderate experience in Art and are in the age group of 7-10 years
  • OR for older kids and adults with experience in beginner concepts

At this level, students understand and start experimenting using lines, shapes, and forms. They learn about movement and spatial concepts. Interesting techniques like pointillism, texture, and shading are introduced. They explore the world of colors and optical illusion. Understanding how a shadow is created when light falls on a Still life is explained practically. Students are introduced to a renowned artist’s work at a very early stage. The corrective techniques to draw and color are also reinforced. A lot of creative crafts and origami will be taught regularly.

Expected Outcome

At the end of this level, students gain confidence and would be easily able to interact with the world around them as they learn and draw using their imagination to create wonderful masterpieces. Problem-solving abilities and cognitive skills are developed. They learn the process of drawing systematically, understanding the core concepts at the same time. Learning about a renowned artist widens their exposure to the world of art.

Once they complete this level, they are ready for the next level.
