Course content:

• How to draw face- learn to draw face drawing with geometrical shapes, understanding proportion & measurement, feature drawing as eyes, nose lip

• Face Contours & Shading- Understand light shade & shadow on face and shading accordingly in graphite medium

• Eyes, Nose & Lip shading- learn to shade and add details on facial features and understanding brightness & contrast adjustment

• Portrait Drawing of Frida Kahlo (A3 size)- learn to draw portrait of a person using photograph grid method

• Portrait Colouring (Base Layers) Oil Pastels- learn to colour shade previous class portrait drawing using oil pastels (Artist series)

• Portrait Colouring (Final Layer)- learn to apply contours & highlight on portrait and add details

Materials required:

• A3 size Drawing sheet

• Oil pastels (24 shades minimum)

• Pencils 2H, 2B, 6B, 8B

• Paper stump/earbuds
