This course is intended for students with no background in Art, primarily for young kids in the age group of 4-6 years
This level is for students with no prior experience. Students will be introduced to the world of art and craft and explore a fun world with interesting drawings. The focus of this level will be on learning the basics. The students will learn how to draw lines and shapes, draw using alphabets and numbers, techniques to hold a pencil or crayon. Simple creative crafts and origami will be introduced. Students are encouraged to kindle their imagination and explore their colorful surroundings. Students are also introduced to renowned artist’s work at a very early stage.
It is at this level that the child’s sensory, fine, and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and bilateral hand use develop. Art is known to develop not only the right side of the brain but also helps in building an important skill set for the future. They are introduced to creative thinking and visual understanding of objects around them. Learning about a renowned artist widens their exposure to the world of art.
Students who have completed the Novice level will advance into the Beginner level.
